Misfire at low revs no EML

Hi all this is my first post on here.

I have a problem with my 2004 2.2 direct signum. It has a misfire when starting which made the car stall, this only happened once in a blue moon and have lived with it for 6 months or so.

This week it has started to misfire at low revs, if I drive it fast it is ok, I dont get an EML come on either.

I have read lots on here and other site and have found it could be various things such as, coil pack, FPR, EGR valve.

What would be the first thing to try or can I get any of these tested as I dont have the cash to buy all these in hope I will sort it.

try and borrow a good coilpack, they are usually the cause of a misfire with no eml

I have a EGR blanking plate and cheater and have bought a new CTS as they are both cheap. If I dont have any luck then I will try and borrow a coil pack,

I have seen an EGR valve stuck open causing idle issues with NO eml light!

well I have taken the car away this weekend. It was fine all the way there, no misfire at all.

It started misfiring when I used it to nip to the shop. On the way back from the shop it was fine.

It happened about 3 different times, sometimes when engine warm, sometimes cold. It does not happen at the same time which makes it hard to diagnose.

I have ordered the EGR blanking and cheater and a CTS so going to fit all these then hopefully might solve it, if not god knows lol
