just seen that matt but when i click on any user profile and bring that box up there is no option to start a conversation ,all i get is profile page,follow,ignore ,

I can't replicate this. I've got 3 accounts on here, all with different permission levels (Me - Admin, Premium Member and Member) and if I click your name, the top up will let me start a conversation with you
EDIT: Also tried in 3 separate browsers, IE, Firefox and Chrome

Working for me by the look of it.

Thanks Steve. The problem was with the permission of the Regular Member group. Because this group was imported across from phpBB, some of the permissions were still not set correctly. The group was set to allow PMs, but there is another setting which limits the number of recipients in the PM. This was set to zero, basically disabling it.

lol, you should see some of the things I get upto on the back end of the site! I love trying to get it as fast, stable, and usable as possible.

I've even released my own addon to Xenforo last night for the Top of Page link which automatically apears as you scroll down
