So far I have done the following mods to my engine:
-K&N panel filter
-Airbox mod
-70mm intake pipe
-2,5" catback
-2,5" downpipe and full decat (DIY)
-4-1 tubular manifold (DIY, close enough to piper one)
-Ported cylinder head (DIY)
-Piper cams
-Removed balance shafts
-Honed block and replaced piston rings and head reconditioning (no burning oil 🙂 )
Next things I'm looking for is the Ported&Polished tb and remap. Only problem is that in Finland there is no one how is able to remap the std ecu (except the dealer of superchips) and I'm not able to get live mapping. So is there any benefit for example the superchips, eds or courtenay sport basic remap without live mapping? I have heard that when you put the eds remap to the ecu you can't use the 2,4 inlet manifold anymore because it will start to run lean? What about the courtenay sport or superchips? I'm only wondering about the rpm limit of std bottom end and valvetrain because right now the car reaches the std limit (6700rpm) very easily and i think that all the rempas raises the limit to something about 7200-7300 (at least the eds does)? Will the std components accept that or do I need to buy something to be able to run that high rpm?
