Daz fitted the 2.2 one on the vixxer.. just to do away withthe x over... as it absorbs too much heat...
Daz ummm... ask someone whos got a cdti one ... lol.. with either one you need to buy new hoses... and the ones to do the 2.2 box are a lot cheaper then to do the cdti one..
Matt CDTI box will fit to the car body with no modifications. They still have to be manually modified to accept the 80MM air flow meter with a spigot ring. Did you have to modify the 2.2 box to fit to the body Daz?

Jamee vxr exhaust. any good for mine??? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Astra-VXR-Exhaust-/190653671382?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c63d827d6#ht_500wt_1287
Matt Standard VXR exhaust is 2.5" diameter. Think the SRI is running a 2.25" system. The standard VXR exhaust was also developed by Remus, but it's branded Vauxhall.
Jamee think i might buy it anyway if it goes cheap, i can always have the bumper modified or buy a new one.
