Notn that I am compaining!!!
I got a phone call from my dealer saying that my head reat pads and exhaust had turned up, so off I went to collect.
These are the headrest pads, very hard to find used, and I wanted to get them to match properly with my trim code, so here they are!

They simply fit into the roll bar hoop at the back, and make it look more like seat headrests, rather than a pair of hollow hoops sitting there.

So then it was exhaust change time. I decided the turbo 2.5" Milltek was just too loud with the tullet manifold and Piper 2.5" downpipe/200 cell cat. So some thing had to be done. So I decided the best coarse of action was to fit a standard Vauxhall system, but not a 2" 2.2 system as this would make the manifold and downpipe pointless.
So after ALOT of research, I decided to buy a new genuine Vauxhall system for a Turbo Coupe. Although this is 2 1/4" and I am dropping down by 1/4", the important thing on an N/A engine is to get the gas's out of the head as quick as possible. The manifold and downpipe do this along with the sports cat, and as the Turbo system is desinged to run at 200bhp, I will not be anywhere near that so should not cause me any significant loss's over the Milltek.
So here is the Turbo system.

Work starting, and 40 minutes later all was fitted and complete!

I have to say, and this was to a degree a big expensive gamble, the new exhaust has a nice rumble on tick over, helped by the manifold etc, but probably about 80% quieter than the Milltek.
The drivability is alot better, and it appears to have gained a little torque lower down in the rev range. So very pleased I have done this.
Don't get me wrong, the Milltek is an awesome system, but on the car is was designed to go on, which is a Turbo.
I would for sure recomend a standard Turbo system to any 2.2 owners. I have felt no loss in over all performance, but as said a little more low down torque!
So on to the next set of changes!!!!
