Hi, am new to the group and needing help with a fault on my Vectra 2.2 SRi 16v - 52 plate vectra c.
I purchased this car knowing that there was a fault somewhere.
When started the care runs as per normal- right lights in the right places.... except the little management light in the bottom right. Shows U2106 when read with a PCMSCAN.
The engine runs well enough to drive but after 5 min i loose all the binnacle instruments and have battery, abs, em, handbrake lights on. engine still runs with an erratic idle.
i have no radio system in the car either so cant acces the onboard info/computer.
Thought it might be the ECU thats needing replaced but I read some areas that say it may be a TCU? Not very technical with the newer engines but wondered if anyone could help. only 77k on it and pulling my hair out trying to see what it could be....
