A trip to the VBOA parts day saw me buy a flocked centre console. I fitted it as soon as I got home, but not 100% sure about it.
So opinions appreciated, good or bad!!

Then in the nice sun this afternoon, I set about some suspension work.
When I had my MOT done last weekend, I had an advisory regarding my top mounts, they appeared to have a little play and the strut had slight movement.
So I decided to replace both the top mounts and also the bearings. At least this way I know everything will be spot on.
Here are the new parts :-

So out come the air tools :-

First stry stripped, parts replaced and put back together. A good clean of the strut whilst it is off is always worth while.

I always take advantage of cleaning the inside of the wheels each time they come off, and also give the brakes a good clean to keep the looking good!!

I have new stainless steel drop links on order as well, so these will go on as soon as they arrive.
But after putting it all back together, and taking it for a drive, I drives alot better than before, it feels alot tighter!
So although there was nothing obviously wrong with the old ones, they were obviously worn after over 9 years.
Who knows, maybe the Eibach Springs and Bilstien B6's were too much for them. There is not one bit of movement now so problem solved!
