Based on the GTC Astra with either the 1.6 or 1.4 engine the GTC200 benefits from a range of upgrades from Vauxhall BTCC team and renowned Vauxhall road tuning company Thorney Motorsport.
These upgrades enhance every element of the car from handling, power, looks and dynamics and draw closely from Thorney Motorsport's long experience in Motorsport.
The Astra GTC200 will be available from February 2012 from Thorney Vauxhall or any local Thorney Motorsport Official Vauxhall Performance Centre. It is completely covered by the Thorney Motorsport 'lifetime, 100,000 mile waranty' so any Vauxhall retailer can look after your car without issue. The Astra GTC200 is even available with **0% interest **over 5 years.
The Astra GTC200 has over 200bhp (1.6 litre model) from the competition inspired race exhaust and ecu remap that enhances the drive brilliantly, throttle response is crisp and clean and even improves the base model's fuel economy!
The GTC200 has a full race exhaust with competition catalytic converters so is fully MOT compliant. It also sounds stunning as all great hot hatches should.
Chassis & Suspension
Sitting 40mm lower the Astra GTC200 comes on Thorney Motorsport designed lowered suspension which improves hadling and cornering grip without affecting the standard car's impressive ride.
Wheels & Tyres
As inspired by our BTCC race cars the GTC200 comes with 20" Pro Race 1.4 wheels on low profile tyres (as used on the GTC VXR).
