right as some know taken vectra off road and insured girlfriend corsa but i want vectra back on road so i just been doing some quotes on yes insurance for the corsa with no years claims bonus on it and i did the purchase date wrong and come up saying £38 a month and thought grate then changed date to when got it the car and went from £38 a month to £75? how is this? any 1 ever seen out like this before if so why does when got car make a diff?

What did you change it to? Did it mean you'd had the car longer or for a shorter period of time?

I put date in march 2010 which is vec date and should of been in jan 2012 so had corsa longer then what i said

Exactly. Can't see why it would make a difference, unless it's something rare or high powered, just to show you've got previous experience driving it etc??

just tryed it again only changing the 2 dates nowt else and still get price diff, can some else try it on yes insurance at date got car then put early date in see if change for them?
