as you may know from my previous posts my poor little beast has been terminated.
i have bought the mrs vectra as she doesnt need it and coulde do with the cash.
i intend to service the old girl (it needed it for a while apparently:rolleyes🙂
chuck my air filter on, de-cat it as the cats knackered anyway and thats it..
by the way does anyone have a passengers side wing for a vectra b?
then in 6 months sell it on once ive saved enough pennys.
the plan is this im going after a larger engined lpg car, as running costs are an issue round here i still want a quick car but not the fuel bills.
my mate gave me the idea when he rolled up in a 4.5l petrol turbo rangerover on an N plate, straight away i was saying it must be a dog on fuel,
no he says as its lpg and he gets the equivalent of 30mpg out of it!!!
my astra wouldnt do that!
more to the point because its pre 2000 he only pays a fixed band tax of about £210 WTF!:eek:
so no firm decisions yet but im thinking before they cease to exist NOW is the time to venture into getting a V8 or similar (preferably car tho!) and definately lpg.
i think 99 audi quatro's looking tempting if you can get one with lpg and in good nick.
always fancied an xjs when i was little and that would be fucking funny!
