Forum Software Change

We are going to be migrating our forum software from phpBB3 to Xenforo over the next couple of days. The new software is so much better than phpBB3, it's a lot more intuitive for the end user, with lots more interaction.

Forum software upgrade completed! Need to go through quite a few things to make sure everything is working as expected.

Group permissions should be sorted. I think I need to manually go through the "Premium Members" and re-add this group. The new forum allows automatic subscriptions and addition to this group. Further details on this to follow.

Unfortunately not John 🙁 , the garage mod we had installed on the old forum was only a Beta version, and a shit load of bugs in it, and was quite heavily bastardised by myself to get it working "pretty well" in a production forum. They still to this day don't have a full Gold release version that works with phpBB3. There are Garage mods for VB, but no one has ported one across to Xenforo yet, but there is discussions on their site about doing it.

Thanks John. I can replicate this using IE only. What version of IE are you using?

I'm using IE 8 at work, but only browse the forum using Firefox or Chrome.

Just had a quick look at the daily stats for the forum usage since we upgraded, and it looks as though people are using it as much, if not more than the old software. Good to see the new features such as "likes" being used :thumbup:
