Daz Its the silver one painted black matt.... the previous owner did a bad job of it tho, so i had to do it again.... debating wether to buy an ipf unit for it now... .. i wud prefer to go up to courts to get it mapped but dont fancy the drive up there.. so the ipf is the next on my list...but in 2 minds....
Daz I would have to map the coupe back to standard, then ask regal to do it, which costs over £200... however as i didnt buy the ipf(came with the car) they wont do it unless you pay the full price for one..
Matt I've never been a fan of the hand held mapping boxes. Would much rather have it done by a tuner, and specifically Courts.
Jamee Regal eds maps have quite a lot of bad write ups. He boost problem I have is common on cars with the regal eds map. It would be Courtney's all the way for me, nice excuse for an overnighter with the wife daz.
Daz 2 jobs done today.. fitted the forge recirc valve, what a complete ballache to fit.. few skinned knuckles to suit aswell.... also painted the diffuser black...
Matt Diffuser looks brilliant Daz. I hated fitting the forge valve, but it's worth it once it's done. You can really feel the turbo spool up quicker on gear change with the directional outlet for the recirculated boost.
Daz Sounds quieter than the o.e valve if i'm honest, but havnt driven it far to see if it makes any diff.... as for fitting it.. if the aircon hose wasnt where it is , it wud be no issue at all... oh and why do they use loctite on the bolts, made the job harder..
Matt I know, one of the hardest things I found was trying to cut down an allan key so get the 3rd bolt out! What a mare that was.

Courtenays front mount kit Courtenays Top hat Walbro 255lph pump Courtenays Dap R springs New Hoses for my 2.2 airbox , to match the reds from courts.. Breather elbow Black Cam cover Courtenays heatshield Vxr Badge refitted to boot strip And remapped to stage 3... And today a well deserved clean
