Hi all i'm carl and in need of some help if some kind people may be able to help so here goes. . .
Does the se2 have specific lower arms as the spares shop is £30 and vx stealers are over £200. The real problem though is i have a whirring noise when the car slows down, now i know that my release bearing needs changing so might aswell do clutch at the same time, i'm told that the whirring noise is the bearings worn in the gearbox and the final drive worn, so if this is my problem i will be needing a new box. So is it easier to remove the engine and do clutch and box or do the job on axle stands i just need to know how much work is involed with each scenario or some kind soul could offer me a hand for the price^^ Thanks in advance.
