Induction kits are pretty much a no no on the z22se engine. The heat under the bonnet would not be beneficial. Even if you could get a decent air feed to it you still wouldn't generate enough cold air to make it worth while.
General rule of thumb is to keep the standard airbox, fit a decent sports panel filter and remove the restrictions within the airbox. You could always cut a hole in the front of the airbox and run a cold air feed (ducting pipe) to the box?
A 2.5" catback system would be a good choice. Milltek or Magnex are quality systems. Don't forget to remove the precat too. Helps to free things up a bit.
