sandyc I am slowly heading towards dragging this hunk of junk into a field and burning it. The car is a Y Reg Vectra 2.2CDti. Just replaced the fuel tank for an MOT yet no matter what I try I simply cannot get it to pull fuel through to the engine. I have so far. Cracked off the injector unions to try and purge air out. Changed broken leak off pipes. Tow starting it. Ive checked all the fuel lines aren't trapped or kinked. Ive manually sooked fuel through. (Bleeeurgh) Filled up the lines from under the bonnet. Still no joy. Sprayed brake cleaner into the intake to start it. Im waiting for a priming bulb coming from Ebay. Anybody else have any suggestions???

sandyc Re: Vectra 2.2Dti. Restart after fuel tank change. Aaaaaaaaa Got it started this morning. :-) Peugeot Primer bulb off Ebay for £5 and a squirt of brake cleaner to use as easy start and it came to life. I think the starter motor has seen better days now though. :-( grrrrr.
