What maintenance can you do..

How far can you go when messing about with your car? What can you do to it ie maintenance wise. I can do

Oil change and filter
Brakes back and front
Change springs ie lowering kind
Change air filter
Change water in the system
Change coil pack
Ecu (did this on my old car)

Thats not fair lol. So working on your car is not a problem then. I like to save cash than hand it all to Vauxhall lol

Biggest job i've done on mine is the cam chain..

On my Astra I've done full service:

Air Filter
Oil Filter
Oil
Plugs
Fuel Filter
Front Discs and Pads

Not really needed to do anything else tbh

But...on my last car I did everything

Fitted Rev Counter
Changed suspension
Lowered torsion bar
Even changed the exhaust myself after having it fitted for the first time, I used to put the cat back on for the MOT

I like saving money, as Vauxhall wanted £190 for the BASIC service, and I did everything inclusing brakes for £90 delivered

I have done all the work myself including rebuilding the head, replaced the timing chain, made my own parts of the stainless exhaust and I will fit the throttle bodies + new ecu/loom myself

Any news on this throttle bodies yet Vocky? I am sure once they are ready a few members on here would like them. Any idea to how much Bhp these will give the 2.2? Cheers
