any one know why doing this?

hi everyone was driving along before at 40 was coming up to a 60 bit of road so as i put foot down the car started to miss for about 5sec then just when back to normal and it just done it now on way home setting off from some traffic lights then missed for about 5sec again, there is no lights coming on dash to say there a problem it just dose it then stops, i have the egr removed and the pre cat so don't think its them and just had MOT and service last saturday, anyone got any ideas? notsure.gif

sounds like your traction control is kicking in making the car misfire maybe abs rings are cracked

well today when stop at lights the rev`s are going up and down abit like its hunting for some think then slows down and then runs fine :wtf:

car been in garage they said abs rings are fine all vac pipes look ok and they said throttle body mite need clean or coil pack on its way out but they have had it up and down the road and rev`s went up and down 1 time when they stopped , so i will have to try clean throttle body first i think

coil pack on mine was more like timing failiure.

yer it like that when put foot down it like it don't no you have done it yet then picks up, i have put my other coil on so will see how i go today with that, hopefully its just that

well i dunno what 1 it was i changed the coil and cleaned throttle body and runs alot better now 😃 just got a 2.2 vec in scrap yard with nowt but with it so be goin for coil tomorrow
