Hi guys, first of all can I say what an amazing forum you guys have here! I am new so forgive me if I don't explain things clearly (I'll do my best).
Down to business..................I have recently purchased a Vectra 2.2 sri 02plate and there is a slight problem with the idle revs.
when sitting at idle if you depress the accelerator slightly the revs drop down to around 600rpm almost to cutting out.
It will rev all the way up fine with no problems but when the revs come back down the pass the idle point to around 600rpm again then back up to normal.
I took off the EGR last night to have a quick look and it was pretty clean so a friend and I tried to test it by turning the ignition but the valve was only popping out intermittently.
The Vec has a cone filter (haven't looked for make) and also 2 twin exhaust (again not sure what make), the combination does sound nice! Its done 62k.
This is my first Vauxhall so ANY information and help would be hugely great full.
