2.2 track abuse planned!

Hi,

Planning to take my Vectra B to the track in the new year, and wonder how well the 2.2 will hold up to the abuse?

The supercharged vx220's seem to hold up with no problems. Based on that you've nothing to fear.

I done one in my 2.2 and it took the abuse all day.

Moved to correct section.

just keep an eye on the oil level during the day :thumbup:

Had great fun at Snetterton today, & the driver training sesions were worth every penny!

Sligh issue with the power stearing fluid getting too hot, but other than that, it took all the abuse I through at it . :clap:

Got the hang of Corums & Palmer by the end of the day, and was getting braver as time went on.

FWD was too easy really, next time I'll be tempted to take the RWD V8 beast for a thrashing :twisted:

I hate to think how much rubber I left there, my tyres were scretching round every corner!

Hightly recommended, and insurance was only £75 (!) (£250 excess)
