2.2 chugging when lifting off or applying throttle

My Astra has always done this but as of late it's really starting to bug me!!

It's exaggerated at low speeds, for example, when in traffic and slowing/speeding up whilst leaving the car in 1st or 2nd gear!

I've had the cat removed, a spacer on the rear lambda with no eml light, egr planner from this site, K&N air filter with the airbox modded.

Any ideas??

Should say that getting a smooth gear change at any speed is incredibly difficult! Also, I think I need a new thermostat as it doesn't warm up to 90

have you cleaned the throttle body

my car doing exactly the same just changed the cts and its still doing it as soon as the car has warmed up.

i did when i got the car back in april, does it need cleaned more regularly?

as above, clean the tb, blank off the egr valve and change the coolant temp sensor dunno..

I'll clean the tb again, already done the rest! It does need a new thermostat though

just for future people searching, the good clean of the throttle body sorted it! (including the breather pipe from the air box to the TB

A good clean of the throttle body only sorted the problem momentarily (or not at all maybe)

List of parts changed so far:

CTS
new thermostat
EGR blanked off
pre and main de-cat (as well as the middle box)
rear lambda spacer
cam cover breather changed to atmospheric
FPR vac pipe position moved to below the TB

Still the same, jerky gear changes which is really annoying me!!

As a last resort really, i disconnected the front lambda....and what do ya know, running like a dream now! nice and smooth, better power deliver it would appear and much less backfiring now too!!

Will run her for a few more miles/days just to be sure, before i would go buy a new front lambda
