It was 11 years ago I bought my first car! I stuck some of the old pictures on Flickr last night, so thought I'd post my previous cars on here:

1st - Ford Fiesta Freedom 1.1 (only had 4 gears!) - Owned for 2 years

lol, they went years ago! They actually broke in transit when I sold them on. Those were my chavvy days of car ownership

Good topic Matt. Reminds me of all the cars I had over the years (Since 1996). Saying that I would have to think long and hard to remember all mine. The ones that stick to the memories is my first car (1.3 Austin Metro HLE "y" reg) and all the Vauxhalls I had. Oh and the 2 Ford Escorts i scrapped! 😃

I wish i had taken pictures of mine tbh.

EDIT: So how comes you havent tinted your VXR windows 😃

Don't think it really needs it. I didn't do the Vectra either.

divide and conquer 🙂 did 26 cars with full tints about 5 years ago 🙂

i also had a fiesta 1.1 it was a popular plus and my 2nd car
8 valve pushrod engine the tappets were adjusted every 3 months it was never noisy like the ones you used to hear at the traffic lights 🙂

That's exactly what this one was like. Was good watching the mechanic adjusting the tappets using the feeler gauge

i did my own tappets 🙂 i had a special set of feeler gages that i had cut to fit the width of the valve stem as the rocker arm was worn like this {---} and the normal gage never fitted the gap
new cork gasket 67p 🙂
