I've for an X plated SRI 150 that won't start. I've been driving it without any problems & went out in it last night & parked it up on the drive when I got home. Went out to start it just now, put my dog in the boot & then went to back lock the house. I then went back to the car to start it. Although all of the lights came on on the dash as normal & then went out bar the EML, ign oil & brake lights which stayed on. The engine just won't turn over & makes no noticeable sounds. One strange thing though, The "Traffic Master" came on saying that it had expired ( it expired years ago) & also said "manual" as I tried to turn the engine on.
Is this possibly an immobiliser problem?? if so how do you re set the thing?? Or is there something else that happens to these cars htat I'm not aware of??
