i currently drive (just baught) a vectra b ls 2.2 z22se with noisy chain lol and a vauxhall cavalier mk3 sri 20xe (off road for engine rebuild)

Im normally found on cavaliercrazy with me cav. But with my recent purchased lemon i thorght id better join lol

But heres a piccie of my cav. N the veccy is totally std fer now 🙂

Yeah got loads matey lol. Got new wheels for her and a engine rebuild and strip out to go like lol but veccy is the commuter so gotta get fixed first. Well reliable fer next few months on the cheap. Then veccy modding will begin 🙂

Funny enough the guy i brought the cav off had a 2.2 astra he was building 🙂

Does the cav still have the squeeky clutch pedal? My parents had a few cavs when I was a kid, and they ALL had it :crazy:

Yeah it has the std toad under the clutch pedal lol but with regular greasing it does stay quiet. Just cba tbh lol

Heres some more pics for ya all. My blue cavvy as i brought it. My green cav as it last was before taxi tboned me and wrote her off :-( must find pics of my veccy too!

Can someone please let me know if in the z22se if i can remove and replace the tensioner without messing with anything else? Cuz obvs times are hard n im proper skint. Im hoping a new tensioner will tie it over till funds are available for full chain kit and fitting. Dont mind a bit of a rattle bit sounding like a diesel is for me on borrowed time lol. Or if anyone has a usable spare tensioner they wanna sell cheap (saab one on evay fer 13 quid used??)
