Having sold my '98 LS Vectra 2 years ago, having owned it from 6 months old, I recently felt it was time to get myself another one. I'd sold the Vectra to buy a new Corsa Ecoflex for the wife, as she wanted a smaller car to run around in. At the time I was using my 2.0 Omega, but the wife wanted a 7 seater for the "family", so I ended up selling my Omega & bought a 7 seater E class Merc. Boy did I miss my Omega, it was far better to drive than the Merc. Anyway, I recently felt it was time to buy another car for myself & move the Merc on. I found just what I was looking for on good old ebag. The pics looked too good to be true, as did the story that was told to me when I spoke to the owner. Anyway, after a 2 hour trip to see the car, I fell in love with it at first sight & it was just as good as described.
It was a 3 owner, manufactured in 2000, 2.2ltr SRI 150 & had been bought by the first owner as his retirement present to himself. He ticked all of the options in the option list, so comes fully loaded. It has the full service history, complete with every invoice for the money spent on the car, but more importnatly it only had 50K miles on it from new. The bodywork is totally unmarked, it has the half leather interior & the spare wheel hasn't ever been on the car!! The car's only done 10K miles in the last 2 years & I have every MOT to support this. It really does drive like a new car & to say I'm pleased is an understatement.
