hi all

i have just bought a cheap little run around to use for day to day driving and leave the astra for the weekends

need a bit of help on insurance

i currently have the astra in my name and insured fully comp with just me on the policy with swiftcover
i want to keep this policy as i will still be using the astra for the weekends

so i need to insure the run around car i will be the owner of the car so my question is

can i have 2 insurance plicys in my name for 2 different cars i own ? will i be able to use my no claims bonus on both cars ?

Yep. You can do that. I was with swiftcover up till a couple of months ago and they mirrored my NCB onto my 2nd car.

Both cars must be insured separately. It's down to your insurance company if they'll allow you to cover both cars with your no claims discount. I would imagine if you were with 2 different companies then it would not be the same story??
