Car passed it's mot

Well my new car passed it's mot today. The new mot's look weird, they look like plan paper with stuff printed on it :lol: . I had it's mot'd at Vauxhall first thing this morning. It failed at first on...

Rear indicator bulb was clear, should have been orange
Front wipers poor, new ones fitted
and my rear brake pads only had 5% left on them. So new rear pads fitted 😃

I was very happy Mike, I thought it might have failed on a few other bits with it not being used in a while.

Nice one mark... the new mot's are just plain paper, meant to cut costs for vosa/siemens, however they dont supply the paper anymore, so more cost for the garages....

The only thing I was not too happy about is my car has 2 budget tyres on the front. I will have to get those changed soon

So did it just have a normal clear bulb for the rear indicator then Mark?

Yes it did Matt, probably my fault when I fitted the new rear light notsure.gif

Well I taxed the car today, I just used the old v5 slip I found in the service history folder. Can't wait to take it out tonight after work 🙂

Been out in it tonight, lovely and smooth. Power wise is smooth, it's hard to tell what it's like. It won't be as quick as my Astra. Very happy with it. Driving with 19" wheels feels fine seeing its my first car with 19" rims.
