New insurance wanted

Who should I go with for my insurance now? I have no, no claims bonus as my last insurance for the past 5 years has been motor traders insurance. I am looking into going fully comp and having my girlfriend on the insurance. My motor traders insurance is due to run out soon. Who will be best for me to go with? Thanks

Admiral have always been good. I can honestly say that Aviva are shite! Good to take your money until you have to make a claim and then they hand it all over to their India branch where they can speak English but not understand it! Sorry.....I went into rant mode just then!

These are the quotes I had tonight

AA - Over £3000 by 12 monthly instalments
More Than - £900 paying by 12 monthly instalments
Admiral - £ 926 but may go up when they do it by 12 monthly instalments

The AA one was the worst, I nearly fell off my chair :crazy:

mine rocketed up 300 quid beginning of the year

Adrian Flux have been the best for me for the last two years. Try playing the 3 companies on here off against each other and see if they can beat each others quotes.

Well got it sorted. After a few phone calls and a few offers I managed to get it done for £96 a month from "More Than" insurance. Happy with that 🙂

i is like musical chairs finding the best insurer as they vary each year

i didn't want to leave chris knott but they wanted an extra 150 off me

Your best quote will be with Aviva, i have all three of my cars plus my van insured with this company and have done so for the last 3 years. As for claiming agian no problem, i didnt speak with anybody in India as my claim was dealt with in this country. I did ask :thumbup: very good service received, car repaired and delivered back within a week....

Heres what i pay per year, all are fully comp

Ford Focus Flight 1.6 with with full no claims £264.00
Ford Transit 190 Tipper with full no claims commercial insurance £299.00
Vauxhall Vectra 2.2 Estate 4 years no claims £380.00
Vauxhall Carlton 3.0 24v GSI full no claims £286.10
