car still not starting

astra 2.2 not firing it will turn over i have checked every connection over and over i need help before i pull my hair out or burn it out

u got ecu light on dash with ignition ?

u checked voltage going to coil pack connection using volt meter

ecu plugs are properly connected to ecu and no bent pins

u using the same ecu / keys / transponder

i have checked the ecu and no bent pins i have the engen light comes on flashes and stays on while cranking i have put an op com on it and its coming up with egr voltage low but surely this wont stop it from starting will it

were would i put my multimeter on the coil pack to test

ecu and transponder from the first engine but the battary was disconncected for a week or to could this of reset the immobiliser but the service light isnt flashes if my friend is right

opcom will tell you if the immob / ecu are communicating

and there will be a light indicating your immob is active

fuel pump relay / engine relay / crank sensor / coil pack controls spark

put ignition on and get a multimeter on the pins you should get a reference voltage of around 12v or 5v

i take it u have tried a different coil pack

i take it u have tried a different coil pack

not yet as it was working when i took it of the the old engine so it should be working surly i shalll put a multi meter on in the morning and c i have changed the crank sensor also there a humming noise coming from near/or the injector rail
