Purchased the car about seven years ago, serviced regularly till about three years ago, after that I've done it myself. Clutch changed at about 100k miles, cam cain done last year, following the fabled slipping sproket problem, and resultant head rebuild.
I think the main factor, is that I do a heck of a lot of millage on the motorways. All at about 60 mph to conserve petrol, especially at today's prices.
