Slick 50 oil treatment

Has anybody used slick 50 oil treatment?
Just wondering if it would help the slight rattle I have at startup. Its quite expensive but if it works then its probably worth it.
I'm always a little dubious of these miracle fixes, if they are so good why doesn't everyone use them?

Well I added slick 50 to my engine when it had only covered 18k , & now the engine has covered 31k & I have the slight rattle on cold start up & also sometimes when the engine is warm .

So I guess the slick 50 was a waste of time :evil:

I love the stuff i put it in my calibra and it cured a tappet noise almot instantly now i use it all the time worth the money in my eyes.

How much is this stuff? I added some oil treatment when I did my oil change, but I know it wasn't this stuff

Ahh, it might have been this then, as it cost me £8 from Halfords, when the word "expensive" was used, I presumed _£20
