Bottom End Rebuild "What parts needed"

Hi Guys

I have just been given a Zafira with only 100,000K the problem is it was given to me as a gift as the bottom end has a very nasty clonking sound.

I have just pulled the engine out and the head has been taken off to be cleaned and reconditioned.

Im about to start taking the bottom end apart and would like to know what parts im going to need "i presume its done a big end bearing"

The crankshaft will be sent off for a weld and regrind to repair any damage.

Im also removing the pistons to get the bore re honed and new rings put in "i assume i can still use the old pistons?"

can i please get a list of what bearings, parts and gaskets im going to need to do all this?

the crank will most likely be scrap as the big end bearing failing damages it 🙁

the only gaskets are the front and rear crank seals and the oil pump :thumbup:

all parts have been ordered

Block is being ground and the bore is about to be honed.

Cant wait to get it all back together.
