Had to buy a Turtle Wax Scratch Repair Kit this afternoon too. 'She' let her foot slip off the clutch and caught the garage door post last night leaving some scuffs up the side of the rear bumper. I tried to polish it out with the new DA but they were too deep. I've masked off the offending areas and touched the scratches in with the Clear Coat pen. Just waiting overnight before I rub it back and polish out.

Let us know how you get on, look at you only had the DA few weeks and wet sanding already.

Done it this morning Si. Shit my pants! Not bad for first attempt. I couldn't get the gloss back up with the clarifying polish by hand though. I was left with flatened paintwork!! Out came the DA with Quik Detailer to moisten the pad and Megs Ultimate Compound. All good now.

I'm tempted to but an old panel from ebay to practice on.

Why dont u pop down to ure local bodyshop and see if they got a slightly damaged wing or summat...
