No mate, the bulb warning on the C can tell the difference in voltage. It will even turn other lights on by itself if a bulb is on its way out but still works. For instance if a front sidelight is about to go it puts its paired indicator on constant instead, clever and useful but it can be a pain in the rear, especially when fitting none stock bulbs.
