chain recall quiery

Does anyone know how I can find out if my car has had the chain recall carried out as I've only got part history. It's a little noise on start up. Also what is the going rate for a chain replacement?

I'd say it wouldn't of been done as Vauxhall never owned up to it, for the sake of up to £300 I'd get it replaced mate.

Interesting! My 54 plate (registered and bought in 2005) is now inthe care of vauxhall due to its cam chain snapping! I have only done 30k miles! Was there ever a recall? I feel an arguement with Vauxhall tomorrow comming on! Any help gratefully recieved! Thanks G notsure.gif

vauxhall are fully aware of the chain problems, but you had the later spec chain kit so it shouldn't have happened to yours :thumbdown:
