In not sure if its still the same but they only used to be allowed 1 child per couple, girls were no go for work so you would commonly find dead baby girls at the side of the road so they could then try and produce a boy.

Just re-read the Daily Mail website. It reads that she has been pronounced brain dead, not actually dead. The parents have to decide wheather to turn off the life support. The pictures are quite distressing.
