Mark_Dj What oil would Vauxhall have used on my car for it's last service? It said Castrol but not what grade it was. Astra Sri 2.0 Turbo Z20LER 2005. It's just I need some more oil to keep it up to level. Cheers
Matt It could have been either 0/30, 5/30, 0/40 or 5/40, as all 4 are acceptable grades to use in the LER.
MikeS i am using 5/40 supersyn http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-984-fuchs-t ... e-oil.aspx uses about a litre of oil every thousand or so cos it is thin whereas gm 10/40 i hardly used more than .5 litre over 5000 miles engine sounds lovely though
