well what a job this one turned out to be.checked the voltage again before i started and it was def only 12.5v.
as you will see below it was a bit of a job
first this that had to be done was remove the belt and take the charger off

as you will se below the air con pipes were in the way.they were both knackered and worn through so i cut them off and sealed the ends off for now.(thats a next summer job now!)



when i tried to fit the new alternator it would go in, and when i compared them both, they were the same, but a piece had been cut away by courtenays when the original work was done

so put it all back together, ran it up and it was reading 14.4 volts so i guess it was that and another job done...all working again(untill the next thing goes wrong lol) :thumbup:
