Mark_Dj Just been out for a run to see how my new map is boosting in the light, seeing my boost gauge light is broke :roll: . So what do you think for Stage 1, do the boost levels look ok. The pics are what it holds at in each gear. My boost gauge shoots up to near 20psi in some gears then sits under like in the pics
Mark_Dj Mine is ok as it won't even over boost past 20 psi, it gets close to 20 psi but it won't go no further. Loving the power of it so far, and my fuel consumption has gone up so far from 21mpg to 25mpg but I have had a little fun with it sice the map when on. I think it may still get better mpg yet.
Matt That's down to the MAP sensor. Don't think they can go high enough, needs the 3 BAR map sensor as the default only goes to 21 IIRC.
Daz the 3 bar map sensors need mapping in also.... Think in all honesty for a stage one map 20psi overboost is quite high, mine on stage 3.5 overboosts 20-22 and holds 19...
Mark_Dj Mine holds 16 or 17 psi. I thought that 3 bar sensor was better for my map. Never mind lol. My car feels good 🙂
Daz the 3 bar sensor is just a better sensor mark. but need adding into the map to tell it its there, or it will run like abag of poop.... the eds stage one maps overboost 17 and hold 15, so ure must be a high torque map, and get there pretty quick too
