the other day while i was driving home, i was coming onto the motorway from an entrance on, and as i booted it to get going, all the dash lights went off, but all the warning lights came on.
the engine continued to run and the headlights stayed on.after a few mins driving it all went back to normal.
tonight when i went out to the shops, it seemed as if the battery didnt have much life when i turned it over, but it did start.
just before we we got to the shops,the air bag and abs lights came on and she started running realy shit.
when we got to the shops, it stalled, and when i went to re start she was dead!
i managed to get a jump start from a nice guy, but the car still ran rough on the way home, almost sounded like when it only runs on 3 pots, that sort of thing
im thinking that, the alternator has gone?? so the battery was flat??? normaly the car should run if the battery is knackered but the alternator is ok?
would this make the things happen, that did happen??
some advice would be appreciated as she is now sitting in the garage very sorry for herself!! 🙁
