is saab block any good?

I've bought the head off a Saab B207 engine, and have been offered the block as well.

I know the head is better than the Z22SE version as it's sand cast, has better valves etc but is it worth getting the block too or not? It's from a 2.0L engine -- does it have the same bore and are any of the other internals any good?

I might do the SC conversion next year if it makes much difference.

you will have to convert it to 2.2 because of the trigger wheel on the 2.0 crank is a 60-2 and the z22se a 5+2

just use the z22se crank, rods and pistons :thumbup:

as vocky says its essentialy the same engine de-stroked and turboed. :thumbup:
