The ECU has an earth connection into the loom of the car. A little eyelet on a brown wire. It goe's on one of the ECU mounting bolts, probably the bottom right as you look at the ECU Just make sure it gets a clean connection.
Cool, thats where I was going to locate it anyway so sounds good to me.

Unfortunately not all parts were in for the job so could only refit the head, exhaust and inlet manifolds plus fuel rail etc.
Will do the chains when we have a balance shaft chain kit and a timing cover gasket. Then I can finish the job!
