Z20NET signum

Been looking at signums (can't find a good cupra r , strange second choice I know ) just wanted to know if anyone had any idea what this could be mapped to before exhaust work Ect .

Found a really nice one low miles well in budget full irmscher kit too .

So what power could I expect after a map ?

Score well its going to be an early turbo as its before 2005 however i would be happy with 200bhp.

A little trip at lunch time for a test drive me thinks showo..

Been to see a net signum this morning quite happy as a car, engine was very dirty had engine management light on looked like the MAF had just been changed had 67 k on the clock ! going for a little 2 hour drive to look at another after lunch as it's lower miles 42k and a lot nicer.

the torque will go mental as well once its tuned its got some low down dirty grunt this engine!

Signums are great cars. :thumbup:

There was a Total Vauxhall cover on the Signum 2.0T. They are easily tunable and have bullet proof engines.

Well just brought this puppy (not sure if the image has attached ) picking it up tomorrow . He has a BSR map for sale 2 for 200 really not sure if I should as the power difference between my astra n the signum is going to be a lot . 42k full irmscher kit , exhaust, alloys with vertasum
Tyres ( spelling is awful) very very clean engine £3300 looked at one this morning ... Standard 67k and 3000 so all in all I'm quite chuffed , I know it's more than the book says but sadly .... The astra needs to go 🙁

Very nice :thumbup: . The Z20NET is a very good engine, I never had any issues with mine and I had mine at Stage 1 BSR. If he has the BSR map with it he should just give you it, as once the BSR map is made for a car it can't be swapped onto another car. The BSR map will be with that car forever, so he won't be able to sell it on. I have the BSR map here from my old Vectra C Turbo, I may as well throw it out as BSR won't change it or mod it. I should have let it go with the last owner. Anyway very nice car you now have, love it 8)

That looks sweet! Love the quad exhaust, and that was a good few hundred quid extra from the factory.

Initial plans are Anthracite alloys and tinted windows maybe a good ol' lick of hammerite smooth on the calipers thinking red whats everyone's thought ?

Yes the BSR he has will only work for that car, it has your cars chasis number stored in it. It's no good to anyone else. He was probably seeing if he could get more cash from you. BSR won't re programme any device made to fit a car, that's locked to another car

my neck hurts after those photos! :lol: nice looking motor ive got to agree with mark the engine is bullet proof its put up with all my initial messing around and bad fuelling while i was getting it right and ive had no ill effects. :thumbup:

Right little update , I've had to go into work today ( wankers) so i'l be collecting it on Sunday now boooooooo 🙁 it's annoying I had the money on my desk was about to head to the train station and I've had to go in b@$##rds !

I still have the old BSR tuning box from my old Vectra sat here. I thought BSR would have changed it over to my Astra Turbo for me, but they told me they won't / can't. I may as well throw it out lol
