just thought i'd put a note on here to say thnx for all the advice i've read on the site, got a break in the weather today so went for it. from start to finish it took 3 hrs and my god what a difference, my veccy feels so much smoother and more eager than befor, no more dramatic pause in between gear changes, they should be like this as standard

yeah true about 1/2 hr to remove 'n refit but about 2 hrs of drilling and chisselling and some swearing :lol:

lol ive not tried removing my cat yet but maybe have it done before the t/v r/r and a few other things 😃

I cut my downpipe off just below the precat and belted the son of a biatch outta there,then welded it bk together..that was after a bout 10 drill bits..

Will be doing mine on wednesday 😃 Appart from the "how to" on here is there any other tips/advise? I have no welder so the option of cutting is out the window, once done ill be giving Wilko a bell on astra sport for a remap 😃

that is cos you dont have a precat.the cat is in the manifold in the tubular part of it before the downpipe
