delgado900 just from the pics it looks as if its twisted a good 10-15mm on the passanger side , am i right in thinking that was the side where you heard the initial knocking ? notsure.gif its got to be from here if anywhere :think: notsure.gif

Daz Tis very odd matt.... the only issue astra's usually have with springs is part of the lower coil snaps off, but its pretty obvious when u look at them if it has....
rushy The bushes in the banana arms always go in the Vec c, and cause the same sort of knocking sound, does the Astra share the same set up?
Daz No the astra is a single beam axle, not a independant rear like the vec....theres hardly any moving parts as such,
