hi all i know its a Peugeot but need some help ?
my partners has a 307 1.6s petrol 2005

it has been fine up intill today. i started the car and all fine drove 2 mins down the road and the engine just cut out, so pulled up on side of the road and turned the engine off. went to restart it and it started but had to rev it t keep it from stalling then noticed on the dash display it came up with catalytic converter fault and pollution fault ? it ticks over when started but the whole car wobbles and sounds really routh ? also have to rev it to get it to start and do see smoke come from back of exhaust.

put it on a code reader and it comes up with one fault

P1336 ?

anyone got any ideas ?
also the engine management light on permanently

i can clear the fault with my code reader but as soon as i start the car again it come straight back up

thanks for the replys looking like it will be a garage job then 🙁 just not sure how im going to get it there the closest one is miles from me 🙁

ok have been away for a few days.
need the motor back asap but local garage want £165 just to diagnose what the fault is.

so wondering if any of the mechanics on here could tell me how to remove the cambelt cover ?have removed all bolts but still in place ? does
the engine mount have to come off ? and anyone tell me where the above sensors are located have looked around the net but cant seem to find much info on it all ?
