heat resistant foil . Would it work ?

Right guys this might be the most pathetic thing I've ever written so don't take the p*ss lol..

Anyway , I know for somewhat best performance, the air is best to stay as cool as possible to the filter ? ! Would it make any difference if a insulted the airbox with a heat resistant foil ?! I.e ( the heat wouldn't come through the wall of the box because the foil would deflect it and vise versa on the inside ) I know it sounds stupid but id thought id ask .. B-) lol
