What to choose as the basis of the conversion?

Been getting brakes and my chassis sorted and have turned my attention to the engine again.

Have a wad of cash and garrenteed overtime for a while 😃

Been doing some more reseach with our cousins across the pond and was wanting to know what would be the best basis for a conversion over here.

The ZZ performance superchager conversion kit

I know that its not a straight fit with the possibility for fuel rails, alternators, compression, ecu and battery relocation etc, but trying to find the past starting point for the money. I like the idea of a brand spanking new kit with all the nuts and bolts, but I also like the sound of the zz performance kit with its plug and play "injector loom" etc.

Any advice would be great even pointing in the direction of someone who carrys these conversions out in the UK just not coutney's as they are to far for me.

There have been a few recent purchases through eBay. Pottsey (Jas) and Steve have both bought theirs from eBay in the last few weeks.

as john says e bay.com ,thats where mine came from just over £800 shipped ,for that i got the supercharger,throttle body,inlet manifold,inlet manifold supporting bracket,water pump,inlet manifold to supercharger gasket,head to inlet manifold gasket
then the rest of the stuff can be sourced from the uk ,mainly courtenays

Have been looking on Ebay.com saw a "take off" for $800 but could not get a reply regarding shipping so will keep looking.

brand new M62's are going for $500 from a couple of buyer's, surplus stock.

Have been reading up on the sticky threads about what parts to get and from where which is helpfull.

Itching to get going and get the parts together.

as john & jase says m8 ebay.com & as u say them new chargers on there i would of been very tempted on but u need the inlet as well,i seen quite a few inlets on there own goin for about 250$
just message them askin if they will ship 2 uk i sent loads of pms sum of them dint even reply but a lot of them will be very happy 2 deliver 2 the uk as long as they get the sale 🙂
