ECU error code: lambda heater broken

Hi,

I just check my car (VX220) with Z22SE. ECU reports Lambda sensor, heater broken, first cylinder bank. It could be the heater or the sensor broken. At low revs the car does not run as smootly as it used to do. Do you have pictures where the sensor and heater are?

i couldnt tell you tbh, but its definately a new sensor unless you have broken wires.
the sensor heats itself before operation to protect itself from extreme temperature changes experienced in the exhaust.

Thank you. Are the sensor and the heater the same thing (since you told me the sensor has a heater)?

the lambda sensor has an intenal heater, if that fails the sensor needs replacing :thumbdown:
