Mark_Dj I had my car on the rollers today, my car is nearly standard. The only mods to my car is the cat back exhaust and front pre cat pipe. They did say my boost was up and down at one point in the run, it dipped down then back up again. What could be the cause of that? My car is a 2.0 Astra 2005 Mk5 Sri Turbo 200PS Z20LER (200Bhp version). Today was jsut to see if it had lost any power over the years, I have only had the car nearly 1 year. Can someone convert the torque settings for me, I don't know it this way. Cheers Results:
Matt That's quite a big transmission loss they have calculated Mark, based on 168.8bhp at the wheels, and correcting this to 214bhp at the flywheel! What does your boost gauge show when you boot it Mark, does that show a drop in boost like their results?
Mark_Dj I don't normally watch it Matt, I see it shoot up and thats me thinking all is well lol. I think it hits 8psi when I am driving it. What can cause transmission loss notsure.gif
Matt You always get transmission loss, but how much varies. Most places use a generic figure, and calculate from that. Did they do a run down on the car once they ran it up on the rollers?
