Hey everybody
Just lowered my vectra on some supersport sprint shocks and springs ordered from Venom motorsport
http://www.venommotorsport.com/manuf...oduct=SuspKits
I did a lot of research on this brand and that particular kit and found that they are used by the vw boys and girls a lot and they seem to be very happy with it and say the build quality is very good, they did say though that the coilover kits where not that well made so that was the decision maker for me, even though I couldn't find any comments from someone with it fitted it to a vectra.
My kit cost just over £200 so yes I know its only a cheap one but it has made the car look lot better I think, I cant say about the handling yet as have only done 20mile of steady driving but the ride is a bit firmer and the body roll has been reduced quite a lot.
I ordered the 45/30 kit but on the box it come in it said 50/30 and it said some kits have rear heigh adjustment too, unfortunately it is not on the vectra b but I am not bothered as I am very happy with the rear height (I personally don't like the back lower than the front) I thought the kit was very well made and think it couldn't be better for the money.
One of my concerns was choosing the rite kit for the engine I have as I know the all alloy z22se (2.2) is lighter than some of the other engines, so I decided to get the kit for the 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 1.7D & 1.7TDI instead of the 2.0TDi, 2.2TDi, 2.2 & V6 kit as I know the derv engines and v6 are a lot heavier and was worried that the handling would be off and the ride on the front might be to heigh, I can only hope it was the rite decision but the front height looks spot on to me
Do any of you lot out there have this kit fitted to your car and what is your opinion I would love to hear about it.
I will do a little write up on the handling once I put it to the test.
Anyway would be good to hear from everyone what your thoughts are.
Can anyone tell me how to upload a picture please then you can see the height, thanks all
